The other day we were learning about the role of women more specifically as documented in the bible. And as I was looking at the particular emphasis that Luke particularly gives women in his gospel, I was left thinking about widows back in Jesus’ day and in modern day society. I guess it also comes [...]

I managed to go over a bit of Hebrew today because that’s how boring today was. Nothing much to mention except that Tasmania’s personal wealth and investments have improved quite considerably this weekend because of the closure of many betting agencies around the state gie to the stoppage of horse racing.
Also the amount of media [...]

Day 3 was pretty uneventful. Holidaying in Hobart feels like a soapie show where you only need to watch one or two episodes to catch up on a whole season. So it is with Tasmania.
Due to the Equine flu which has stopped all horse racing, punters have turned to turtle racing as the preferred sport [...]

After having freezing temperatures today, it got up to a heatwave of 17 degrees in Hobart today. Jeremy and I drove down along the South coast of Tassie seeing the glorious countryside and admiring God’s beautiful creation.

Hockey season is finished, RiCE is finished and now it’s time to get stuck into my essays and Hebrew stuff. I’m off to Tassie this weekend with my son Jeremy and I’m guessing half my bag will be full of textbooks and notes from college to read on the plane. Oh well…cant bludge forever.

Last Saturday I was fortunate to be a part of the Rice Big Day Out at Homebush Overflow. My mission was to train and encourage a group of leaders to draw characatures of people whilst having Gospel conversations with them. It was easier said than done for some. Multi-tasking can be a hard thing when [...]

Last Friday I took the kids to the football because my oldest son was given a free ticket at school and he really wanted to go. Seeing it’s nearing the end of the season, I thought I mite as well and I didn’t have any assignments or work to do. Plus the fact that Lesley [...]

Last week having Tremper Longman the third come to talk to us reminded me of my family heritage and being the fourth generation of Thomas Wall’s made me feel like I was one up on Tremper. And although his son is Tremper the fourth and waiting for Tremper the fifth, I had no problem breaking [...]
